We are raising funds to support left and labour movement organising inside Ukraine, and to pay for Ukraine Solidarity Campaign materials.

The UK Ukraine Solidarity Campaign is organising protests and meetings against Russia’s war in Ukraine, and an international solidarity statement supported by people around the world. But at the moment we are operating essentially without funds. We need money for basic tasks like getting placards, flags and banners, publishing leaflets and so on.

We have stretched our targets. We have now raised £500 for campaign materials and over £1,000 fo the following:

1. the appeal from Ukrainian left organisation Sotsialniy Rukh (Social Movement) and
2. the appeal from the Federation of Trades Unions of Ukraine (FPU), which is raising money to support refugees housed in various trade union facilities in western Ukraine.

We are now aiming to raise a further £1,000 for campaign materials and a further £2,500 for these two Ukrainian appeals. (Total £5,000.)

 (Note: we were previously raising money for a medical equipment appeal, but this has closed. We have now had donations well over £500 so now all money raised will go to the two Ukrainian appeals described above.)
