On 15 January thousands of trade unionists and social activists took to the streets of Kyiv and picketed the Parliament, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in Kyiv. The mass protest was against new labour code – branded ‘legalised slavery’ which will massively restrict workers rights and of trade unions to represent workers.
