UKRAINIAN WORKERS NEED YOU TO HELP THEM WIN

We are making an urgent  appeal to trade unions organised in the car industry to assist the KVPU – the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Ukraine.

We are asking you to follow the example of trade unions at the Renault Group, who convinced the company to donate two vehicles to the Ukrainian trade unions to assist them during this war.

In the UK today more there are 30 car manufacturers – with plants of Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, JCB, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Lotus, Aston Martin, Bentley Motors, Rolls Royce , Vauxhall.

All these companies could donate a vehicle to help the ordinary woman and men struggling in Ukraine today in the face of a brutal Russian invasion.

We appeal to the trade unions in these companies to approach the employer and ask them to follow the example to Renault – to donate a vehicle to assist the KVPU.

We need pick-up trucks or equivalent vehicles to assist the members of KVPU who are at the front line or active in the frontline areas.

Contact the Ukraine solidarity campaign to discuss this appeal and what we need to help KVPU – email us at: info@ukrainesolidaritycampaign.org

Any vehicle donated will also be used  to also transport much needed medical kits which we are also obtaining for the victims of this invasion.

Vehicles which can help Ukrainian trade unions

The casualties of Russia’s war in Ukraine are counted in tens of thousands, the displaced in many millions, the damage in tens of billions of pounds. The invading forces are systematically committing crimes including intentional killing of civilians, rape, destruction of vital infrastructure, and forced displacement and deportations, including of children.

A democratic, lasting peace for the peoples of Ukraine requires the defeat of Russia’s brutal imperialism.  Join us in standing with Ukraine’s resistance to Putin’s war, help us to obtain a vehicle from your company.  Show your solidarity with direct aid.
