For three months and nineteen days in a row, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people have been resisting new and new attacks by the Russian occupiers in various directions. Ukraine appreciates all the assistance provided by international partners.
The Russian occupiers are using methods that violate the rules of war. They attack civilian infrastructure, killing and injuring civilians, including children, and make actions that can have regional and international consequences. We have prepared an update of such actions of the occupiers as of the morning of June 12.
According to the chairman of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko, on June 11 the Russian invaders killed 2 civilians and injured 10 while shelling Netailove and Staryi Karavan.
The head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai informed, that on June 11 the Russian troops fired at the civilian infrastructure of Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, Pavlohrad, Synetskyi, Zolote, Vrubivka, Mykolaivka, Toshkivka, Komyshuvakha, Bilohorivka, and Shypilivka. Authorities clarified information on 1 killed and 2 injured residents of Lysychansk due to those attacks. The number of casualties in Severodonetsk cannot be calculated because of intense fighting.
According to the chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Synehubov, on June 11 the Russian invaders killed 3 and injured 4 civilians while shelling Kharkiv city, settlements in Kharkiv and Izium Districts, Balakliya and Zolochiv.
The Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration reported, that on June 11 the Russian occupiers struck at the residential quarters in Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Kamianske, Danylivka, and Temerivka with artillery and aircraft. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but several houses were damaged.
The Russian militants in the temporarily occupied Kherson and Zaporizhzhia Regions have started the issuance of Russian passports for the local residents, the Russian propagandist outlets report. The number of people who actually obtained Russian citizenship is miserable: 23 – in temporarily occupied Kherson. But the invaders are creating conditions which force people to get new documents.
The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council Hanna Zamazeeva reported, that on June 10 the Russian invaders shelled the residential quarters of Bereznehuvate, Shyroke, Kutsurub Communities. At least 9 people were injured due to those attacks.
