The 2025 autumn conference of the Green Party of England and Wales meets in Bournemouth 3-5 October.
Over 70 members have submitted a motion to reaffirm, sharpen and concretise the party’s stance of solidarity with Ukraine – which you can read here.
If you’re a member and haven’t yet added your name formally to support the motion, please consider doing so on the Green Party website here.
Above Viktoriya Ball, British-Ukrainian climate activist and Green Party member, explains why this organising is so important.
Ukraine Solidarity Campaign will have a stall at the conference and be active there. If you’re going and would like to help, get in touch: info@ukrainesolidaritycampaign.org
With our Green Party supporters we have also produced a leaflet / bulletin for the conference – see below.
For more on the issues and arguments, see this article (‘We must stand with Ukraine now more than ever’) on the Bright Green website by Viktoriya Ball and Matthew Hull, the party’s outgoing Trade Union Liaison Officer. And this article by Seb Matthews, the comrade who is the lead proposer of motion L2.
