The leaflet includes details of, and a QR code to donate to, our appeal in support of mine rescue workers in Donetsk region, eastern Ukraine. Many thanks to the UK National Union of Mineworkers for supporting the appeal, including by adding their logo to the leaflet.

The flag is from Pavlo’s union, miners’ union NGPU – it was signed by the branch secretary of his former workplace, Mine No 9 in north west Ukraine, during a USC solidarity delegation and given to us to take to the Gala. The message says, in Ukrainian and English: “Long live friendship and solidarity between Ukrainian and British workers’ unions”.
